She was predeceased by : her parents, Obie Havner and Emma Havner; her husband Wilburn Wade Simmons; and her siblings, James Havner, Roger Havner, Ray Havner, Roy Havner and Ida Cantrell.

She is survived by : her son Jason Wade Simmons (Alicia); and her sisters, June Gibbons and Judy Prather. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
