She was predeceased by : her husband Bruce A. Cherry; and her son Bland Alan Cherry. She is survived by : her children, Dale Cherry (Teddi) of Rockwall, Cynthia Harris (Jimmy) of Dike and Kristi Cherry (Mark Graca) of The Colony; her grandchildren, John Thomas Cherry, Jordan Cherry, Holly Sewell and Hilery Hill; and her sister Sunell Comfort. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
