She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Nichols; her daughter Lynda Clayton; and her sister Ila Dunavant. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Hill of Sulphur Springs; her son-in-law John Clayton (Mary Nye) of San Marcos; her grandson Chris Clayton (Priscilla); and her great grandchildren, Grace, William Clayton of Houston and Kathy Zeglin of Highlands. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Oaks Funeral Home (500 Hillcrest Dr N, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Lee Cemetery (996 Co Rd 4700, Winnsboro, TX 75495).
