She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Carl and Mamie Lee Wood (Humphrey); her husband Charles L. Nix; her siblings, Glenda Haggard, J. D. Wood and Richard Stanley Wood; and her son Bobby Lynn Nix.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Nix of Sulphur Springs and Donna Hamilton (Ray) of Gladwater, Texas; her grandchildren, Luke Nix, Christi Boyer, Jeff Hoke, Saundra Davis, Michele Bennett and Eric Nix; and her siblings, Edith Tedder of Greenville, Texas and Doug Wood of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren.
