With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Toby Boatman (Sulphur Springs, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on January 8, 2026 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Gwendolyn Boatman (Harris); his son Jacob Boatman; his father Tolbert Gene Boatman; and his grandparents, Elmer Tolbert Boatman, Edna Boatman, Leta York and Henry York.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sons, Josh Boatman (Tye), Nathan Boatman (Shayna) and Ethan Boatman (Victoria); his daughter-in-law Ashten Boatman; his grandchildren, Emma Boatman, Baylor Boatman, Brayden Boatman, Brett Boatman, Aubrey Boatman, Tobin Boatman and Ruger Boatman; his brother Todd Boatman; and his stepmother Julia Boatman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Orwosky Funeral Home (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Weaver Cemetery (8743 US-67, Saltillo, TX 75478).
