With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raquel Torrez Acosta of Sundown, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Librado Torrez and Esther Torrez (Peralez). She is survived by : her husband Elias "Coaster" Acosta, Jr. of Sundown; her children, Luis Torrez Lopez of Sundown, Jerry Lopez (Shanna) of Tennessee, Michael Lopez (April) of Louisiana, Julian Lopez (Oscar) of Sundown, Donna Rogers (Dustin) of Sundown, Kayla Vidales (Emilio) of Levelland and Marivel Acosta-Lopez; and her siblings, Esther Martinez, Eddie Torrez, Kathy DeLeon, Mary O'Canas, Irene Herrera and Librado Torrez, Jr.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
