He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Isabel; his wife Irma; his sons, Rene Jr. and Ruben; his grandchildren, Miguel Rene, Javier Andres, Ruben Jr., Ricardo and Miriam Annette; his siblings, Armida Garay, Georgina Lightbourn, Jaime Padilla and Cristina Perez; his father Eduardo Padilla; and his brother Eduardo Alonzo Padilla. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
