It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luberta Bell of Sweeny, Texas, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eula and Willie Carter, Sr.; her son William Bivens, Jr.; her sisters, Willie Mae and Rose Mary Carter; and her nephew Ronnie Earl Carter.

She is survived by : her husband Raymond Bell, Sr.; her daughters, Alberta Bivens, LaShona Brown (Chris) and Jennifer Bivens (Carl Williams); her siblings, Nettie Lee Bivens of Brazoria, Marva Powell of Brazoria, Archner Carter of Brazoria, Willie Carter, Jr. and Donald Ray Carter; her friends, Rev. K. W. Bree, Sr., Maude, Mike Hall and Henry Sidney; her sister Sandra Scott; and her godchildren, Shon Bernard and Zena Grice. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
