With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Adelaida T. Alaniz of Sweetwater, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregorio Tovar and Angelita Tovar (Torrez); her husband Guadalupe Alaniz, Sr.; her children, Alfonso Alaniz, Guadalupe Alaniz, Jr., Martin Alaniz and Linda Gonzalez; and her brothers, Martin Tovar and Ponciano Tovar.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemaria Alaniz of Sweetwater, Pauline White (Charles) of Bryan, Texas, David Alaniz (Irene) of Sweetwater, Texas and Jesse Alaniz (Julie) of Lubbock, Texas; her stepdaughter Rosemary DeLeon of Sinton, Texas; and her siblings, Sandy Tovar Pearce of Sinton, Texas, Ruben Tovar and Leonard Tovar. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
