She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Sepeda (Herrera); her son Adolfo Gutierrez, Jr.; her brothers, Augustine Sepeda and Alejandro Sepeda, Jr.; and her father Alejandro Sepeda, Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Julian Castillo, Jr. of Sweetwater, Texas; her children, Belinda Zarate (Mickey) of Sweetwater and Gilbert Gutierrez of Sweetwater; and her stepson Julian Castillo, III of Sweetwater, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home (403 Locust St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A prayer was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish (511 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
