He is survived by: his wife Connie Olguin of Sweetwater; his children, Joann Cano of Abilene, Denise Carrion (Jesse) of Roby, Daniel Olguin Jr. (Patti) of Sweetwater and Amanda Olguin of Sweetwater; his grandchildren, Devin Carrion, Donovan Carrion, Jennika Carrion, Javier Olguin, Meghann Olguin and Nicolas Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Brayden Crain, Camden Carrion, Bentley Carrion, Scarlett Carrion, Jaxon Carrion, Daniel Escobedo, Evelynn Escobedo, Kalista Escobedo and Remelie Olguin; and his siblings, Ricardo Meneses Olguin and Odilia Arredondo.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCoy Chapel of Memories. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish (507 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
