John Curry Bewley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 83, John Curry Bewley of Sweetwater, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Curry leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul M. Bewley and Bernice Bewley (Mooney); his daughter Darla Sue Bewley; and his brothers, Kenneth Bewley and Dan Sherer.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Bewley of Sweetwater; and his children, Reneigh Meneses (Mark) of Sweetwater, Ronald Bewley (Kati) of Sweetwater, Curry Bewley (Dianna) of Sweetwater and Mitch Moore (Ryan). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McCoy Chapel of Memories (401 E 3rd St, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
