In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Randy leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Randy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Ellison and Minnie Lola (Rumfield); his wife Rebecca Petty; and his daughter Shelia Ann Brown. He is survived by: his daughter Holly Brown Collins (Rick) of Hamlin, TX; his brother Phil; his sister-in-law Karen Petty of Abilene, TX; his niece Melanie Jean Roland of Ft. Worth, TX; and his nephew Britt Roland (Miram) of Gulf Breeze, Fla.. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (401 E 3rd St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fountain Gate (909 N Willis St, Abilene, TX 79603). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Spring Creek Cemetery (14834 FM 608, Maryneal, TX 79535).
