He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Nivens. He is survived by: his father Roosevelt Nivens; his daughters, Stephanie Nivens David Nivens Jr. and Erika Nivens; his grandchildren, Trinity Smith and Kendrick "KJ" Kemp Jr.; his brothers, Victor (Reem) and Roosevelt; and his close friend Cathy. He is also survived by four nephews, one niece, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends.
