She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Owen Quebe and Frances Wolf Quebe; and her sisters, Joyce Cowan and Linda Quebe. She is survived by : her husband Jerry Hawkins of Taylor; her sister Fayrene Pressnitz of Benton Harbor, Michigan.; her children, Haylie Martinez (Eddie Martinez) of Taylor and Stephen Hawkins (Margaret Garry) of Austin; her grandchildren, Alyxandra Martinez (Zachary Smith) of Taylor and Alan Martinez (Giselle Ayala) of Jarrell; her great grandchild Kaison Millican of Taylor; and her pet Maxie Boom Boom. She is also survived by numerous family members, friends.

The lying in state was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Taylor City Cemetery.
