She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Gest and Selma Gest; her siblings, Alfred (Velma Gest), Antone (Beth Gest), Walter (Dolores Gest), Ruby Eiland, Leona (Nolan Bland), Hilda (Adolph McVoy) and Katie (Robert Jackson); her siblings' children, Joyce Huntsman and Junior Bland; her great-niece Brinkne Gest; her friend Ray Hudson; Clayton Tex Bennett.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Scruggs of Laneport; her daughters, Susan, Eddie Boyd of Rockdale, Donna Scruggs of Rockdale and Debbie Norris of Little; and her grandchildren, Kaycee, Michael Schilt, Asher, Ezra of Bastrop, Willie, Haley Boyd, Carson of Huntsville, Aaron, Caitlyn Norris, Blaise, Gabe of Littlefield, Waylon, Jordan Boyd, Caroline of Albany, Traye Norris, Kaidon, Kaizer, Kynlee, Kailor of Little and Whitley Boyd of Fort Worth.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Condra Funeral Home (503 Talbot St, Taylor, TX 76574). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
