She is survived by: her husband Donny Heine; her children, Dawn Dorsett (Paul) and Darren Heine (Dayna); her grandchildren, Zach Heine (Audrey), Elise Lawhun (Ryan), Chase Mahlmann (Stephanie), Jacob Dorsett (Maddie) and Jessica Dorsett (Jay Thomas); her siblings, Peggy Westbrook (Johnny) and Ronnie Patschke (Joyce); and her great grandchildren, Briggs, Weston, Rylie, Adalyn, Creed, Cash and Chance.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of America (https://www.lupus.org) in honor of Virginia's memory, to support research and aid for those dealing with this dehabilitating illness.
