She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Griffin and Forrest Smith; her husband Burley Brooke, Jr.; and her siblings, Ruby Teer, Myrtle Nichols, Wesley Smith (Buddy) and Edgar Smith.

She is survived by : her son Roger Brooke (Vonda); her grandson Brian Brooke (Yvonne); and her great grandchildren, Colby Brooke and Hunter Brooke. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
