With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Susan Tubbs (Teague, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Jantz and Alvina Buetow; her siblings, Marlene Jantz and Allan Jantz; and the father of her children Sherman John Meschke (Sam).
She is survived by: her daughters, Bethany D. Nixon (Gary) of Rockwall and Julie Bowers (Brian) of Teague; her grandchildren, Hailey D. Nixon, Bo D. Bowers and Blake D. Bowers; her stepgranddaughter Allyson Bowers; her sister Sandra Welch (Richard) of Oakdale, Minnesota; her sibling's children, Dawn Peterson, Dean Jantz (Rebecca), Keith Jantz (Debbie), Kelly Jantz (Jodi), Randa Jensen, Shaun Naya, Dausha Everett (Dave), Dan Jensen (Christel) and Don Jensen (Jennifer); and her stepsons, Cody Tubbs (Emily) and Chad Tubbs. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bowers Funeral Home (900 US Hwy 84 W, Teague, TX 75860). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the church of charity of your choice.
