Arthur J. Mercer III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 78, Arthur J. Mercer III of Temple, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Arthur farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Arthur is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Mercer Jr. (Ura Louise Hudgens Mercer) and Joe; and his uncle Gary Hudgens. He is survived by: his wife Beth Ussery of Weslaco; his brother Mike Mercer (Nancy) of Temple; and his godson Frank Barker of Cypress, Texas.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Joe's Shop.
