He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Zaragoza and Thomasa Gordillo; and his brothers, Ramon "Chico", Ernesto "Pinky", Mario and Raul Zaragoza.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Elizabeth, Gilbert Jr., Samuel, Johnny Cleo, Thessalanica Kay, Sonja-Theana, Sherynne Yvonne, Tana Chalysse and Xavier Y.; his wife Frances Kay Zaragoza; and his siblings, Anita, Alex and Dolores "Lola". He is also survived by his 9 children, 33 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
