It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Timothy Havelka of Temple, Texas, born in Granger, Texas, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Havelka and Angeline Havelka; his brother Stanley Havelka; his brother-in-law Jerry Tobolka; his wife Angie Vitek; his children, Ron Havelka (Lori) of Conroe, TX, Jim Havelka (Jacque) of Kingwood, TX, Carolyn Havelka and Patty Turner (Keary) of Flower Mound, TX.; his sisters, Mary Jane Tobolka of Austin, TX, Ann Sehon (Ray) of Temple, TX and Margie Matthews (Richard) of Burnet, TX; his sister-in-law Louise Havelka of Georgetown, TX; his brother Ed Havelka (Kathy) of Salado, TX.; his grandchildren, Lauren Merrill (Robert), Tim Havelka (Katy), Zach Havelka (Rachael), Chris Havelka (Alex), Taylor Polk, Heather Polk, Grayson Turner and Travis Turner; and his great grandchild Bridget Merrill. He was also cherished by grandchildren and 1- great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church.
