He was predeceased by: his parents, Hijinio Sr. Hernandez and Aurora Hernandez (Resendez); his daughter Frances; his great grandchild Ryan Hernandez; and his brother Flortino Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Fuentes; his children, Juaquin Jr. (Linda), Angela, Elizabeth and Ana Alicia; his siblings, Hijinio Jr., Guadalupe (Mary), Jesse (Linda), Rick (Irene), John (Louisa) and Virginia Ortega of Temple, Texas.; his grandchildren, Juaquin III, Kristine Rodriguez and Krystal Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Brooklyn, Olivea, Melody and Steven Ryan. He is also survived by four children.
