With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Woolverton Ellis Fox of Tennessee Colony, Texas, born in Palestine, Texas, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alton W. Woolverton and Betty Woolverton (Weems); her son Greg; and her husband Billy Joe of Elkhart. She is survived by : her son Joe Ben Ellis; her daughter-in-law LaNell of Tennessee Colony; her granddaughters, Chelsey Ellis Dunn (Aaron) of Longview and Callie Ellis of Longview; her brother Ben Gary Woolverton (Carolyn); her niece Lisa Woolverton McDonald (Keith) of Tennessee Colony; her nephew Gary Woolverton (Sonia); her brother-in-law Edwin Ellis of Elkhart; and her caregivers, Yolanda Brown, Lisa Gilkey and Doris Evans.
