Gaylia Fay Coley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaylia Fay Coley of Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Shelburn and Lorene Shelburn; her former husband T. F. Almand; her husband Calvin Coley; her children, Ricky Almand and Brenda Miller; and her siblings, Dalton Shelburn, Wendell Shelburn and Alice Cooper.
She is survived by: her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Bennie Almand of Powderly, Texas; her daughter Tandi; and her son-in-law Burgess Karr of Hooks, Texas. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Funeral Home (2807 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dorcas House at Hampton Church of Christ.
