James B. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his adoptive daughter Linnie Schoelman. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Vaughn; his sons, James Matthew Vaughn (Heather Lee Vaughn), Joseph Lee Vaughn (Marla) and Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Sebastian, Oliver and Baron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the East Funeral Home-Moores Lane (2807 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1003, Texarkana, Texas).
