He is survived by: his daughter Carol Holland (Michael) of Plano, TX; his brother Harry Upchurch of Wake Village, TX; his granddaughter Melissa Roach (Sean) of Oak Point, TX; his great grandchildren, Ethan and Brenna Roach of Oak Point, TX; his sibling's children, Sheri Lalumondier of Ashville, NC, Linda Stevens, West and Paul Rowe of Kannapolis, NC; and his caregivers, Amanda Ward, Etta Jones and Veronica Zamora.
