She is survived by: her mother Mary Ann Holliness (Harris) of Lafayette, CO; her husband Carl Richard of Texarkana; her children, Delaney Richard of Denton, TX, Garrett Richard and Donovan Richard of Texarkana; her siblings, Shari Searuggs (Darryl) of Parker, CO and Randall Holliness (Tammy) of Longmont, CO; her granddaughter Evelyn Rose Richard of Yorktown, TX; her daughter-in-law Ashley Richard of Yorktown, TX; her mother-in-law Ozie Carson of Texarkana, TX; her siblings-in-law, Edith Richard of Texarkana, TX, Gertrude Raibon (Joe) of Houston, TX, Melba Ervin (Dean) of Manvel, TX, Thomas Richard (Trudy) of San Antonio, TX, John Richard (Debbie), Nathan Richard (Rosie) of Texarkana, TX and Michael Gooden of Dallas, TX; her nieces and nephews, Jasmine Searuggs of Houston, TX, Kayla Holliness of Longmont, CO, Holly Richard of Memphis, TN, Kerensa Hardy of Memphis, TN, Dominique Searuggs of Denver, CO, Jackson Holliness of Longmont, CO and Chase Richard of Texarkana, TX; her close friend Jewell Scott of Washington; and her pets, Echo and Sandy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Church (5801 N Kings Hwy, Texarkana, TX 75503).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Fund, an organization Karen felt strongly about.
