He was predeceased by: his wife Virgie Elizabeth Smith; and his son Robert Smith. He is survived by: his son Mark Smith (Judy) of Texarkana, Texas; his daughter-in-law Brenda Smith of DeKalb, Texas; his grandchildren, Lauren Smith Berajawala (Mark) and Dillon Smith (Kristy); and his great grandchildren, Austin Smith, Finley Berajawala, Miles Berajawala, Felicity Kraft and Catalina Kraft. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
