It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Babb Goodman of Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughlet Orlando Babb and Johnie Kate Rose; her husband Charles Goodman; her son David "Pete" Goodman; and her granddaughter Nina Marie Goodman.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Goodman (Stephanie), Stephen Goodman (Amy), Teresa Webb (Joe), Barbara Francis (Kelly) and Stephanie Goodman; and her brothers, James Babb and Danny Babb. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Restland Cemetery (100 4th St, Roxton, TX 75477).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 5501 West 7th Street, Texarkana, Texas.
