He is survived by: his siblings, Ronnie Herron (Perla) and Roxanne Cole; his daughters, Bessie Lewis (Jeff) of Porter, TX and Beanita Balmain (Jason) of Queen City, TX.; his grandchildren, Ricky Joe Wheat (Bri), Nicholas Lewis (Raylyn), Nathan Lewis, Belinda Clark (Hunter), Ashley Clark (Nic), Miracle Greathouse, Rebekka Stout and Alexis Balmain; and his close friend Jenny Cross. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
