He was predeceased by: his father Bernardino B. Hernandez; his wife Rony Hernandez; and his nephew Jesus Munoz. He is survived by: his mother Guadalupe Hernandez; his siblings, Maria Hojnacki (Mike), Diana Canales (Eddie), Miguel Hernandez (Della), Perfecto Hernandez (Margaret) and Juan Hernandez (Theresa); and his children, Marcy Colley (Wade) and Dan Chaney. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church (1604 9th Ave N, Texas City, TX 77590). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
