He is survived by : his wife Lori Houston; his children, Jen Houston, Hannah Houston and Colten Houston; his stepchildren, Lacy and Tim; his grandchildren, Jace, Chason, Gunner, Jaeleigh, Scarlet and Noah; his brother Jeff Houston (Crystal); his nephews, Josh Houston (Tiffany) and Jordan Houston; his niece Bella Houston; and his aunt Patricia Sheffield. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Church (2222 N Hwy 146, Texas City, TX 77590). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zavalla Cemetery.
