He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pete, Carmen Gonzales, Juan and Gloria Dominguez of Galveston; and his friend James Joseph Polocheck.
He is survived by: his parents, Pete Gonzales and Juana "Jeanette" Gonzales; his siblings, Elaine Ayala (Chris) and John Edward Gonzales (Patricia); and his siblings' children, Johnathan Gonzales (Skye), Jeffrey Wadkins, Miranda Gonzales, Jake Wadkins, Jonah Gonzales and Isabella Ayala. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the UTMB Blood Bank and/or the National Kidney Foundation.
