He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito Gutierrez and Apolonia Bedoy; his sons, Robert Gutierrez Jr. and George Gutierrez; and his wife Paula Gutierrez.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Perez (David Perez), Rosa Gonzalez (Simon Gonzalez), Tony Gutierrez (Linda Gutierrez), Elsa Duran and Jaime Gutierrez (Debbie Gutierrez). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the same location.
