She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Der and Ruth Van Der (Plender); her son Thomas; her in-laws, Alvin and Jean Keyser; and her sisters-in-law, Laurie Keyser and Vera Van Der Maaten.

She is survived by : her husband Bob; her daughters, Megan and Katie; her siblings, Dennis Van Der Maaten, Audrey Van Gorp (Jim), Randy Van Der (Karen), Deb Ver Steeg and Andy Van Der (Karen); and her siblings-in-law, Dick Keyser (Blanche) and Joni Kraayenbrink (Mark).
