She was predeceased by: her husband Horacio Mederos; her parents, Maria Magdalena Pena and Ernesto Adames; and her siblings, Pedro Adames, Ernesto Adames and Veneranda Adames.
She is survived by: her son German B. Portorreal; her daughter-in-law Carla P. Sibaja; her grandchildren, Carlos I. Portorreal and Nathanael Portorreal; and her brothers, Jose Andre Adames and Fermin Adames.
