He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Lee Fogarty and Maurice "Scottie" Fogarty; and his sister Mary Linda Therber (Lonnie). He is survived by : his wife Martha Fogarty; his children, Sean (Alison), Mark (Jessica) and Krystal; his grandchildren, Zoey, Connor and Derek; and his brothers, Michael (Leigh), Terry and Thomas (Paula).

He and his brother knights held a virtual rosary that started as a devotion during covid that endures today.
