He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Talmadge Van (Tommy) and Willie Van; his wife Robbie of The Woodlands, Texas; his children, Tommy Van Jr. (Rachel) of Melbourne, Florida, Rhonda Shumake (Cody) of Midland, Texas, James Goble (Caleen) of Richmond, Texas and Jamie Farrington of Oklahoma; and his sister Linda Strain (Oscar) of Midland, Texas. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
