He was predeceased by : his parents, James Hoyt and Annie Belle Robertson; his wife Sue Robertson; and his siblings-in-law, Jack and Frances Honaker.

He is survived by : his friend Bill; his children, Lisa Robertson Tiesman (Chris Tiesman) and Scott Robertson (Kari Hoffman); his grandsons, Carter Tiesman, Clayton Tiesman, Caleb Tiesman and Daxton Robertson; his nephews, Richard Honaker and Michael Honaker; and his niece Debra Honaker.
