He was predeceased by : his parents, Pat Austin and Helen Mae Austin (Taif); his wife Ruby Austin; and his brothers, Pat Jr., Deanie and J. Austin.

He is survived by : his sons, Roger Kyle Austin (Sarah) of Crowley, Gregory Scott Austin of Thornton and Bryan O'Neal; his daughter-in-law Vivian Austin of Seattle, WA; his son Russell Eugene Austin; his grandchildren, Joshua Keith Austin, Steven Carlile Austin and Alyssa Renee Austin; and his great grandchildren, Alex Conner Austin and Rylan Walker Austin.
