He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Galindo and Teresa Galindo; his nephew Nicolas "Niko" Garza; and his brother-in-law Jose "Flo" Florencio Garza. He is survived by: his precious Angel; his wife Adela Ortiz; his sisters, Rosie, Marisela Galindo and Minnie Hinojosa (Rene, Jr.); his siblings' children, Rene Hinojosa III, Tony Garza, MJ Garza, Lexie Garza, Hardie Garza, Joey Garza, Terry Garza, Gabriel Garza and Manuel Mendoza; Miguel Angel Galindo.
