She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Quinones and Delfina Quinones; her husband Jessie Avila, Sr.; her children, Jessie Avila, Jr. and Nancy Avila; her grandson Paul A. Avila Jr.; and her siblings, Arthur Quinones and Gloria Quinones Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Melba Avila Scudder (Stephen) of Virginia Beach, VA, Paul Anthony Avila, Sr. (Patsy) of Montgomery, TX, Steven Avila (Hilary) of Norman, OK, Patricia Anne Avila Jansen (Henry) of Cedar Park, TX, Dwayne Avila of Navasota, TX and William Edward Avila of Kingston, OK.; and her siblings, Ophelia Quinones Mesorano, Mary Lou Quinones Garcia, Sylvia Quinones Mireles, Alfonso Quinones and Armando Quinones. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
