He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ruth Wheat; his children, Rachel Vandiver (Paul) and Joshua Wheat (Mallory); his stepdaughter Ashlee Wilson (Joel); his grandsons, Austin Lepchitz, Barrett Wheat, Connor McCauley and Colby Wilson; his brother Mike Wheat (Ada); his niece Paige Wheat; his great-niece June; his nephew Zachary Wheat; his aunts, Dorothy Armstrong and Verna Harper; his cousins, Randy, Dee Davis, Jo, Dwayne Neal, Annelia Williams, Alan, Debbie Armstrong, Mary, John Lehoczky, Becky, Ken Hunnicutt, David, Annette Wheat, Deborah, Wayne McMillian, Gary, Lois Wheat, Alice, Scott Stuckey, Clay, Susan Wheat, Sherry, Greg Pippen, Cynthia and Devin Koenig; and his extended family, Mary Helen Buras, Patti, Steve Jones, Kenneth, Elizabeth Buras and Chelsea McCurdy. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Klein Funeral Home (1400 W Main St, Tomball, TX 77375). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Main Street Crossing (111 W Main St, Tomball, TX 77375).
