He was predeceased by : his parents, Ada Taylor Baker and John Walter Baker; and his son-in-law Leon Doughty. He is survived by : his wife Frances Baker; his children, Sidney Clyde Baker Jr., Glenda Armstrong (Ricky), Cindy Doughty and Donna Jessee; his siblings, Jerry Baker (Faye) and Wanda Hopkins (Darrell); and his grandchildren, Carisa, Brandon, Alicia, Diane and Dustin. He is also survived by great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
