She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Murphey and Neva Murphey. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Edward Childress of Troup; her children, Kim Anderson (Eric) of Liberty City and Kyle Childress of Troup; her grandchildren, Shannon Anderson (Victoria) of Liberty City, Savanna Puckett (Collin) of Fairfield and Shelby Anderson (Logan) of Liberty City; and her great grandchildren, Clay Puckett, Kodi Anderson, Lyndi Anderson, Archie Anderson and Oran Anderson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cottle Funeral Home (105 E Bradford St, Troup, TX 75789). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church (212 Co Rd 4705, Troup, TX 75789). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at the Concord Cemetery (174 Co Rd 4705, Troup, TX 75789).
