We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2021, at the age of 92, Doris MacHalek of Troy, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, J. S. McEldowney and Wilna Sullivan McEldowney; her husband Joe Warren Machalek; her daughters, Katherine Turner, Karen Machalek and Jo Anna McMurtry; and her sisters, Jaan Brown and Joan Frenzel. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Troy United Methodist Church.
