He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Gage and Suzie Gage; his son Jerry Don Gage; his siblings, Jerry Mac Gage and Claudia McNeely; and his grandson Cory Swartz.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gage of Troy; his stepchildren, Kathy (Steven Swartz) of Nolanville, Vicky Metcalf of Troy, Texas., Ricky Jones of Flower Mound, Mike (Norma Hagan) of Brady and Jack Hagan of Hondo, Texas.; his sister Betty Cluck of Temple, TX.; and his grandchildren, Chad Drew, Bailey Metcalf, Hailey Metcalf, Cynthia Jones, Seth Gage, Weston Hagan, Jess Hagan, Michaela VanDyke, Amanda Hagan-Castillo and Jake Hagan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jimmy's name to the Taylor Valley Baptist Church building fund.
