He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Schleede and Lafaun Maedgen Schleede; his siblings, Raymond Darryl and Betty Evelyn Schleede Machuca; and his grandson Corbin Chase Schleede.

He is survived by : his wife Juanita Payne Schleede; his children, Steve (Cynthia Schleede) of Temple, Eric Schleede of Troy and Ronell (Billy Burke) of Rockport, TX.; his sisters, Linda (Gary Blodgett) of San Antonio, TX and Laura (Dave Huff) of Maryville, TN.; his grandchildren, Jessica (Bryant Bulls), Nathan Schleede, Taylor, Erica and Leroy Burke; and his great grandchild Collin Bulls.
