He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Aplin; and his siblings, Elizabeth Alverado (Alberto), Tomasita Huerta (Juan) and Olivia Resendiz (Roberto). He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Earlene Friend (Peter) of Grain Valley; his brother Edward Gonzales (Ilda) of San Angelo; and his grandchildren, Bryan Friend, Kenneth Braden, Nacoal Friend, Matthew Braden and Noah Friend. He is also survived by great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren, 19 nieces and nephews.
